ABOUT Xavier Marquis is a young documentary filmmaker with an animation and motion graphics background. He has work many years in London and Paris for branding and advertising. His first short film, "Somebody Exceptional" which were pointing out the vanity digged in all of us had a good carrier in festivals. Xavier takes on the world that surround him a curious and in the same time amused look, pushing him in his last projects to search in the real the small surprising details that populate our daily lives. In « Dealing « with time, his latest documentary, broadcast in France and many foreign channels and very well received at festivals, he studied our relationship to time using a wide range of graphic means to treat in a visual and entertaining way a relatively abstract subject. It is with this same taste for combining content and visual efficiency, live action and animation that he addresses his current projects.
